Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data ATT Translation Services collects and why. When you contact us or place an order, we collect your name, email address, and phone number so we can reach you about your order. If you use our web form to send us a document, we also collect scans or photos of that document, which may include passports, birth or marriage certificates, powers of attorney, and other papers that carry sensitive personal details such as your full name, date of birth, and ID numbers. We only ask for what we need to quote, translate, and deliver your order.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to process your order: to prepare a quote, assign a translator, produce the notarized translation or apostille you asked for, and send you updates on its status. We use your contact details to notify you by email, Telegram, or phone when your order is ready, when we need more information from you, or when there is a question about the document you sent. We use the document scans you upload only to complete the translation or certification you requested, and not for any other purpose.

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. To run our order process, your data passes through a small number of services that act on our instructions, not on their own behalf:

  • Our order management system (TMS), where our team tracks your order from quote to delivery.
  • EmailJS, which sends you email notifications about your order.
  • Telegram, where our order manager receives a notification that a new order or message has come in.
  • Cloudflare, which runs the technical infrastructure that carries your form submission from our website to the services above. Cloudflare is an infrastructure processor and does not use your data for its own marketing or other purposes.

Your form submission travels from our website through a server-side proxy to a Cloudflare Worker, which then passes it to the TMS, EmailJS, and Telegram as described above. Each of these services only receives the data it needs to do its part of the job.

Data Retention and Your Rights

We keep your order data, including uploaded document scans, for as long as needed to complete your order and to meet our own legal and accounting record-keeping duties, and we then delete it. Because ATT is registered in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, we handle personal data under Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data.” If you are contacting us from the European Union, we also follow the same core principles as the GDPR: you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make any of these requests, or to ask a question about how your data is handled, email us at info@1russian.com.

Analytics and Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 and Yandex Metrica to see how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed and how people found our site. These tools use cookies and collect data such as your browser type and approximate location, but they do not receive the document scans or personal details you submit through our order form.

Payment Data

If you pay in EUR or USD, your payment is handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for these transactions. Paddle collects and processes your payment details directly, under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number, and we do not keep any payment card data on our own servers.

This Privacy Policy describes our general data practices and does not replace the specific rights you have under Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ, the GDPR, or other applicable law. If you have questions about your rights, contact us at info@1russian.com.
