Terms of Service
ATT Translation Services provides translation and document processing services: certified and notarized translation, help with apostilles on Russian documents, and coordination of related paperwork. We are not a law firm, and using our services does not create a lawyer-client relationship or count as legal advice. When your order needs an apostille on a Russian document, we do not stamp the apostille ourselves. We prepare the paperwork and work with a licensed Russian notary and the Russian Ministry of Justice, who are the only bodies allowed to issue an apostille on a Russian document. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.
Pricing and Payment
Our fixed prices are listed on the Pricing page. If your document is unusually long, damaged, or non-standard, we confirm the final price with you before you pay anything. We accept payment in EUR and USD through Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record, which handles your card payment and issues your receipt. Clients in Russia can also pay by invoice or SBP transfer. We start work on your order once payment is confirmed.
Turnaround and Delivery
We give you an honest turnaround estimate when you order, based on the type of document and the logistics involved. Digital copies are usually sent first, so you can use them while the notarized originals are still on their way. When you need the physical originals, we send them by courier, typically CDEK or an air-freight partner. International delivery to the EU or the US usually takes 2 to 5 weeks. Because this leg of the journey depends on customs checks and the carrier’s own network, delays can happen that are outside our control, and we will let you know as soon as we learn of one.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you cancel before we have started work on your order, we refund your payment in full. Once translation or notarial steps have begun, we refund the portion of your payment tied to the work that has not yet been done, and keep the portion that covers the work already completed. To cancel or ask about a refund, contact us through the channels on our Contacts page.
What We Are Not Responsible For
We prepare your documents to meet the standard requirements we know for your destination, but we cannot guarantee that a government office, bank, university, or other authority will accept them. Acceptance depends on that specific authority’s own rules at the time you submit your documents, and those rules can change or vary by office. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice; if your situation involves a legal question, we recommend speaking with a licensed lawyer in the relevant country.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost time, lost opportunities, or costs caused by a third party such as a courier, customs authority, notary, the Ministry of Justice, or the government office reviewing your documents. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
ATT provides translation and document processing services and is not a law firm. Apostilles on Russian documents are issued only by the Russian Ministry of Justice through a licensed notary, not by us directly. These terms describe our general practices; your order confirmation and any signed agreement take priority if they conflict with this page.
